Current Ministry Structure

From its founding in 1990 in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, LA, God has today grown Desire Street Ministries into a multi-state work, with a vision to work with others in the Christian community to eradicate poverty in the United States and beyond.

Through a strategy focused on partnerships with local ministries, DSM has been able to expand its reach to other cities in the Southeast. Encouraging, equipping and supporting the calling of others will more quickly and effectively achieve the goal of a Christian movement to eradicate poverty in this country.
