Desire Street Academy prepares young men from New Orleans and Baton Rouge for real world success and service to Christ. Most of our students come from low income backgrounds and without DSA's intervention, they would slip through the cracks in other educational settings. Rather than giving up on their potential to succeed, DSA teaches students the educational basics, but also challenges them to think, develop character, and become community leaders.

You can join DSA's family, directly shaping the life of one or more young men through our SPONSOR PROGRAM. The program ensures that each student, regardless of a family's ability to pay tuition, receives a qulity education. Will you help us empower a hard-working, but underserved young man achieve his goals?

As a partial sponsorship ($3,000 a year or $250 a month), you can join a team of like-minded donors to provide for the educational costs of one student. Through a full sponsorship ($15,000 a year or $1,250 per month), you can directly underwrite the educational costs for one student. Your commitment to provide a student with an excellent Christian education at Desire Street Academy meets several of his greatest needs, preparing him to escape the cycles of poverty.
