Desire Street Academy

In an effort to continue the educational focus of Desire Street Ministries, we are pursuing the option of Charter Schools, a growing opportunity in our country to meet the educational needs of inner-city kids.

While we graduated our last class of students from Desire Street Academy in May of 2010, we are partnering in Baton Rouge with Children's Charter Schools to use the DSA campus as home to an elementary school for girls and boys.

In New Orleans, DSA's home before Hurricane Katrina, a charter school is also in the planning. Stop back soon to read more about both of these exciting ministries.
